David Smith

David Francis Smith, age 55, of East Bridgewater, formally of Whitman passed away from a lengthy battle with Covid, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

David was married to the love of his life Holly, who he had been with for 40 years. A truly loving and devoted father to Janessa, Jonathan and Kitta.

David was the loving son of Sally Hoover and the late Edward Smith. David is also survived by his loving siblings Michael, Lisa, Paul, and Kevin as well many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. David was a family man and treasured them all and would do anything for them.

David will be remembered for his generous nature, infectious sense of humor and wit, and his gift for bringing fun and lightness to others. David was a die-hard Patriots fan, lover of classic cars, especially his Red Corvette and Butternut Gran Torino, he loved golfing with his buddies on the weekend or just going to breakfast to catch up on things. David & Holly enjoyed going to all types of music venues together over the years, and they especially enjoyed being part of the Heartbreaker Family.

Services for David will be private to honor his wishes. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
