Phyllis Coronella

Phyllis Coronella (Ingala), age 100, of S. Weymouth passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, September 6, 2021. Phyllis was born and raised in the North End. She married her beloved husband, Joe, in 1942 prior to him serving in the Navy during WWII. After he returned Phyllis and Joe started a family in S. Boston then moved to Weymouth in 1955 where they had resided since.

Phyllis was a seamstress at South Shore Hospital for 20 years. She was also a multitalented artist who excelled in painting and playing the organ. Throughout her entire life, Phyllis loved music and dancing especially with her husband whenever they saw an opportunity.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Joseph Coronella. She is the loving mother of Tony Coronella and his wife Liz of Bridgewater, Joe Coronella and his wife Kathy of Methuen, Paul Coronella and his wife Brenda of Hingham, and the late Richard Coronella, her cherished 10 grandchildren, and her 10 great-grandchildren.
