Isabel Seymore

Isabel W. Seymore (Russell), age 93, of Weymouth passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Isabel was raised and educated in Quincy graduating from N. Quincy High in 1947. She married her husband, William, in 1949 and they settled in Weymouth together in 1952 to raise a family. Isabel enjoyed bowling in a Weymouth league for over 60 years and was also active at Heritage Methodist Church in Braintree for most of her life.

Isabel was a district manager for Montilio’s Bakery for fifteen years and retired from Stop and Shop Bakery in 2009 at the age of 81. She also loved Bingo and organizing bus trips to Foxwoods.

Isabel was predeceased by her beloved husband William Seymore. She is the loving mother of Donna Seymore of FL, William Seymore and his wife Jeanne of Plymouth, and Carole Callahan and her husband Terry of Weymouth, grandmother of Katie, Thomas, Jack, James, Alyssa, and Adrianne, and great-grandmother of Isabel, Savannah, Jayden, and Haley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Isabel on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant Street (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30am Friday for a funeral service that will begin promptly at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
