Carolyn Rose (Corridan) Rennie, age 92, a lifelong Weymouth resident, passed away on August 8, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Carol graduated Weymouth High School in 1946. She married her husband, Billy, in 1951 and they settled in Weymouth where they cultivated many fond memories raising their seven children.

Carol has co-owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Weymouth since 1962. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth Landing where she enjoyed singing at weddings during her younger years. She loved spending winters in Marco Island Florida, ice cream at Sweet Annie’s, chocolate, and a good Margarita.

Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband William “Billy” Rennie Jr., son Stephen, grandson David and daughter-in-law Janice. She is survived by her loving children Marilyn Rennie-Stanton and her husband Paul of Kingston, David Rennie of NH, Dianne Gilman and her husband Dave of Pembroke, Heather Rennie-Schneider and her husband Ken of Rockland, Tricia Guilbeault and her husband Scott of Pembroke, and Bill Rennie and his wife Kate of Cohasset, her cherished seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Carolyn on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9-10am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.)
