Patricia Shields

Patricia Ann Shields (McDonald), age 81, of Weymouth passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021. Pat was raised and educated in Weymouth graduating from High School in 1958. She married her husband Fran, in 1957 and they settled in Weymouth where they raised a family together. Pat loved the beach and made many fond memories at Nantasket over the years. She also travelled to Italy and was known to go waterskiing often years ago. Above all else, Pat loved her family and will be remembered for her caring demeanor and big heart.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis “Fran” Shields. She is survived by her children Kevin Shields of Weymouth, John Shields of Boston, and Brad Shields and his wife Sarah of Weymouth, her grandchildren Scott, Stacie, and James, and her siblings James McDonald, Tom McDonald, Joan Garvey, Betty Dargin, and Mary Dosenberg.

Services for Pat will be private to honor her wishes. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Pat to Parkinson’s research at www.Parkinson’s.org. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Brad and Sarah Shields at a later date.
