Catherine Theran

Catherine Theran, age 81, of Hanover passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Catherine was born and raised in Boston and graduated Cathedral High School. She started a family in 1961 and raised her family in Weymouth until 1996, when she moved to Rockland and then Hanover.

Catherine worked at State Street Bank for ten years and later Kohl’s for many years. Catherine was extremely social and loved meeting new people. She was so proud of the family she raised, and adored her grandchildren.

Catherine is survived by her children Peter Theran and his wife Tracy of North Carolina, Theran “Peggy” MacNeil and her husband Donald Dow of New Jersey, Stephen Theran and his fiancé Lynne Goodnow of Sterling, Michael Theran and his wife Rebecca of Connecticut, and Gregory Theran and his wife Jennifer of Plymouth, and her cherished grandchildren Drew, Colin, Jack, Andie, Cormac, Catie, Maggie, and Cole. She is also survived by her siblings John Sheehan and his wife Linda of Walpole, Roberta Sheehan and her husband Earl Taylor of Quincy, and Rosemary Durica and her husband Daniel of Norwell.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the graveside service for Catherine on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11am in Knollwood Memorial Park located at 321 High Street Canton, MA 02021. Funeral arrangements for Catherine are in the care of C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located in Weymouth, MA.
