Kurt Henry

Kurt Henry, age 62, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Quincy, MA passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. Kurt was raised and educated in Milton and West Roxbury, graduating from Needham High School prior to receiving a Bachelor’s Degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1980. He later settled in Quincy with his former wife Carolann Burke, where they resided for many years.

Kurt was very active in the Boston Punk Era in Boston during the 70’s and 80’s in various bands including Phobia, Tall Paul, Bachelors, Even with Christian Marclay, and Brewbaker Bros. He had a successful Rock career in Taiwan with The Typhoons. Along with Kurt’s passion for music he was also a talented painter and sculptor.

Kurt is survived by his siblings Matthew Henry of New Hampshire and Alyson Dossett of Weymouth, and his former wife Carolann Burke of Quincy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Kurt on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 4-7 pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 7pm. Kurt will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery located in Seabrook, NH at 11am Saturday morning, all are welcome to attend.
