Pauline Fama

Pauline Fama (Gatta), age 81, a long-time resident of South Weymouth, formerly of Mattapan and the North End, and most recently residing in Alexandria, Virginia passed away on May 10th, at age 81. Devoted mother of Rosemary (Marco) of California, Linda (Michael) of Virginia, and Steven (Beth) of Abington. Survived by her much loved grandchildren Taylor, Callan, Brooke, Jonathan, Avery, Paige, and Braeden. Preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Charles “Chilly”.

Taking into consideration COVID concerns, visitation for family and close friends will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 8:30-9:30am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. a Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant Street, South Weymouth. A link will be available on the obituary page to access a live-stream of Pauline’s funeral mass at 9:45am Saturday. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
