Julie Dorsey

Julie A. Dorsey (Joyce), age 76, of Weymouth passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Julie was born and raised in Dorchester in St. Ambrose Parish. She started a family in Dorchester before settling in Braintree in 1974 where she had countless fond memories of raising her children.

Julie had a nurturing soul and was loyally steadfast to her family. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her enormous generosity particularly during Christmas.

Julie is survived by her loving children Robert Dorsey of Marshfield, Kristen Amirault of N.C., and Lauren Dorsey of Quincy, her grandchildren Kaileen and Ryan, her siblings Paul Joyce of Marshfield and Dennis Joyce of E. Hampton, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Mass for Julie on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10:30AM in Sacred Heart Church located at 55 Commercial St. Weymouth, MA. Burial will immediately follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Boston.
