Mary Bailey

Mary Bailey (Culligan), age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Mae married her beloved husband George in 1946 and, after starting a family in Cambridge and Somerville, settled in Weymouth in 1960. After raising her family Mae worked for many years at Brady Enterprises.

Mae was predeceased by her husband George Bailey. She is survived by her loving children Barbara Jordan and her husband Bill of MI, George Bailey and his wife Kathy of Weymouth, Dave Bailey and his fiancé Amanda of Weymouth, and Kathy Seeley and her husband John of Carver. Mae is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Mary on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth. Due to the limited Covid-19 capacity, the religious service for Mary will be private. Mary will be buried with her husband George at Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore at 30 Reservoir Park Drive Rockland, MA.
