Ryan Gardiner, age 38, of Weymouth passed away suddenly on March 4, 2021. Ryan was born in Stoughton then was raised and educated in Weymouth, Quincy and Cambridge. He worked at Blue Hills Resort, the Salvation Army, and most recently Gillette Stadium.

Ryan was a loving, kind-hearted man who spent many years struggling with a dual diagnosis. He did his best to offer love, help and friendship to all who asked, particularly to his family and those who loved him in return. Ryan loved fishing, music, animals and time at the beach. He was an avid hockey player, skater, bicyclist and loved participating in sports in general.

Ryan is survived by his father, William Gardiner, and his stepmother, Anne Gardiner, both of Weymouth, his mother Robin Gardiner of Quincy, his siblings Sarah Gardiner, Michele Gardero and her husband Greg. He was also the nephew of Brenda and Ron Knight, Stanley and Marta Drasky and Adam Snodgrass. Ryan was cousin to Karen & Chris Choukas and will be remembered by many other loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial services for Ryan will be held at Old South Union Church in Weymouth on Sat March 20th @3:00pm. The service will be live streamed on the churches facebook page https://facebook.com/osuchurch. It is a public page, no need for a facebook account. Due to Covid restrictions church capacity is limited, please contact the family if you plan to attend the services. You may leave a message here for the family if you wish.
