Jacqueline Grant

Jacqueline Grant of Braintree passed away suddenly on March 4, 2021 at the age of 78. Jackie grew up in Weymouth with her five siblings and graduated from Weymouth High School. After graduating she started work for the North American Insurance Company. In her later years she worked for the Welfare Office of Weymouth and Quincy.

Jackie was a woman of many talents. She loved music, playing on her keyboard, singing in the choir at the Union Congregational Church and particularly loved playing scrabble. Jackie had a tremendous memory always remembering everyone’s birthday. Most of all Jackie loved spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed family get togethers.

Jackie was predeceased by her brother Philip. Her surviving siblings are Lily McNeil, Sylvia Sudbey, Sheila Johnson, Roberta Sweeney and her husband Jim. Jackie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the C.C Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. Weymouth, MA, on Friday March 12, 2021 from 9-11AM followed by a private service. Burial will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery, 168 Cedar St. Weymouth MA
