John Rosseel

John G. Rosseel of Abington passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on February 5, 2021. John was born in Quincy before moving to Braintree where he was raised and educated. Upon graduating high school John proudly served in the United States Navy. After living in Braintree for many years John moved to Abington where he raised his family and still lived with his wife Dorothy. John worked as the head of transport for New England Concrete Pipe Company before taking over Best Felts Company of Maine that he owned and operated until his death.

John was an avid boater and enjoyed being out on the water. He was also an incredibly talented musician playing the keyboard and the organ. Although he very much enjoyed his hobbies it does not stand in comparison to the love he had for his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

John was the devoted husband of 56 years of Dorothy Rosseel of Abington. He was the loving father to Diane Holbrook of Weymouth, the late Sandra Kelliher of Pembroke, and Kenneth Rosseel of Abington. John is also survived by his four grandchildren, Christina Mason, Jason Kelliher, Lisa Ramos and Molly Kelliher.

Services for John will be private.
