Leanne Briggs

Leanne Briggs (Martell), age 82, of S. Weymouth passed away on January 25, 2021. Leanne was born, raised, and educated in Quincy. She married Burton Briggs in 1955 and they settled together in Weymouth where they raised their family and have remained since. Leanne worked as a bookkeeper for a short time but her true passion was caring for her family. Leanne will always be remembered for being a woman who loved and trusted God. She was dedicated to her family and children who love her dearly.

Leanne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years Burton Briggs. She is survived by her loving children Andrew Briggs and his wife Sheryl of Rockland, Cathy Lee Maser and her late husband, Otis of Weymouth, Robert Briggs of Randolph, and Linda Briggs of Weymouth, her cherished grandchildren Amy, Jonathan, and Christopher, and her eight great-grandchildren. Leanne is also the sister of Daniel Martell and the late Debra and John.

Funeral services for Leanne will be private due to the current viral crisis. Leanne will be buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
