Alfred Santoni

Alfred Vincent Santoni passed away peacefully on August 28th at the age of 78. Born and raised in Boston’s South End, Al later settled in Hanson, MA.

Al treasured his independence driving around in his cherished car. He loved dogs, NASCAR and performing Karate for many years. Al mostly enjoyed spending time with his many friends at his complex.

Al the son of the late Vincent James Santoni and Gertrude Johnson Santoni. Beloved brother to Frances Sanders and her husband Richard of Weymouth; Vivian Whittier and her husband Harry of Florida; and V. James Santoni and his wife Patricia of Maine. He leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews along with his best friends Dave Hayes, BJ Hussey and Mary Quill.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Alfred on Wednesday September 2, 2020 from 11-1pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 1pm. Burial immediately to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth, MA. Donations can be made in Al’s memory to South Shore Hospital at southshorehealth.org/give
