Mark Sampson a lifelong resident of Weymouth died peacefully at the age of 64. Cherished son of the late William and Phyllis Sampson. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbarann and their two children Jennifer and Brett of Weymouth. Mark is also survived by his brother William Sampson, his wife Marie and their daughter Makalla Goode and her husband Robert of Brewster MA along with their 4 sons.
Upon graduating high school Mark worked with his father doing home remodeling. His love for woodcraft pushed him to open his own custom furniture shop, The Wood Gallery, in 1975. Mark, a skilled craftsman designed and built one of a kind pieces of furniture based off a conversation with his customers. He rode his passion for the craft his entire life.
Mark was a man of many hobbies including fishing, camping, boating and mechanics. Mark loved riding his motorcycle, quads and anything with an engine. He was always tinkering with a new piece of machinery. Spending time with his family on trips and adventures always had a special place in his heart. Above all Marks greatest joy in life was being a loving husband, father and friend to all.
