Robert Gregoire

Robert J. Gregoire, age 82 of Weymouth passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2019. Bob was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He married his wife Shirley in 1959 and, after a few years in Halifax, moved to the United States. Bob and Shirley lived in Boston for a short time before settling in Weymouth where they have resided since. Bob worked for the City of Boston and in retirement enjoyed casinos, trips to Las Vegas, cruises, and visiting family back home in Canada.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley Gregoire (Rushton) of Weymouth, his siblings Sharon Saunders of Ontario, Lynne Beland of Nova Scotia, and Donald Gouthreau of Australia. He is also the uncle of Dave Edelstein and the great-uncle of James and Jaclyn Edelstein.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation for Bob on Saturday December 14, 2019 from 3-6pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Following the visitation Bob will be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association at 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
