Angelina V. Forest (Veleva), age 78, of Weymouth and formerly of Braintree, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2019, after a long illness. Her loving family was by her side during her final days. Angelina was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and lived in Yugoslavia until she came to the United States in 1970 to marry her beloved husband of 49 years, John. Angelina and John lived in Dorchester for a short time then settled in Braintree where they raised a family and cultivated many memories.
Angelina was an amazing cook who was devoted to her family, most especially her children and grandchildren, whom she loved so much. She took great pride in her role as a homemaker and was incredibly dedicated to doing all that she could to care for her family. She also loved shopping and was famous for not being able to pass up a good deal. Angelina loved to spend time outdoors, and particularly enjoyed being by the shore.
Angelina is survived by her beloved husband John Forest of Weymouth, her loving children Robert Forest of Plymouth, and Chrissy Gavrailov and her husband Mitko of Weymouth. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Evan and Natalie.
