Juan Acebes

Juan Roberto Acebes Elder, age 66, of Randolph passed away after a battle with lung cancer on July 7, 2019. Juan was born in Newton and was raised in Bogota, Columbia until the age of seven when he attended school in New York. He finished his primary school in Waltham then received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Boston University. Juan married his wife, Joan, in 1977 and they lived all over Massachusetts, most recently in Randolph.

Juan worked in many different facets of Film Production, enjoyed body building and was a very talented photographer.

Juan is survived by his beloved wife Joan Acebes (Weston) of Randolph, his siblings Madeline Acebes and Carmen Acebes both of Bogota, Columbia, and his in-laws Anne Buccella and her husband Patrick, Karen Gronberg and her husband Mark, Sharon Weston, and Richard Weston and his wife Tess.
