Mary Lundquist

Mary L. Lundquist (Kenneally), age 97, of Kingston and formerly of Weymouth passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on March 21, 2019. Mary was raised and educated in Boston. She married her husband, Robert, in 1948 they settled in Dorchester where they raised their family for many years before moving to Weymouth in 1963. Mary worked for New England Telephone for 15 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She loved playing piano, reading, and in her youth loved dancing. Above all, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Lundquist, in 1967. She is survived by her children Robert Lundquist and his wife Linda of S. Weymouth, and Anne Marie OConnor and her husband Brian of Kingston. Mary is the loving grandmother to Brian Paul, Patrick, Kathryn, Michael and Kristin and nine great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Mary on Wednesday March 27, 2019 from 8:30-9:30AM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A Funeral Mass in honor of Mary’s life will take place at 10AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth.
