Donald J. Fitzpatrick Jr.

Donald J. “Fitzy” Fitzpatrick Jr. age 66, of Weymouth MA passed away January 17th, 2019 after a long Illness. Donald was born in Somerville and lived in Weymouth most of his life. He graduated from Weymouth High School in 1970. Donald worked as a telephone technician and a salesman. He loved spending time during the summer in Martha's Vineyard with his family. Donald enjoyed fishing and going to Atlantic City.
He is the son of the late Donald J. Fitzpatrick Sr. and Roberta (Palma) Fitzpatrick and the brother of the late Ethel Berry. Donald is survived by his former wife Jeanne Smith and their 2 children, Lisa M. DiRito and her husband Anthony, of Plymouth and Michael D. Fitzpatrick and his wife Leanne of Duxbury. Six grand-children Andrew, Alexandra, Nicholas and Ava DiRito, Caeliana and Ella Fitzpatrick, his sister Kathleen Yannizzi and her husband Philip, and brother in law Richard Berry and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visiting hours on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4-7pm in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant Street, (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth, MA 02190. A Celebration of Life service in honor of Donald will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church in S. Weymouth at 10 AM.
