David John Tucci, age 61, of Pembroke and formerly of Weymouth and Rockland, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2018. David was born and raised in Weymouth graduating from the Weymouth Vocational High School in 1977.
Dave was an entrepreneur of many businesses throughout his life. He worked in the trades after school and started a company soon after called Acoustic Ceiling Specialties which he operated for many years. Dave also owned Crystal Autowash in New Hampsire, and other businesses over the years.
When Dave’s father, John, passed away at a young age Dave took the leadership, father-figure and caretaker role caring for his siblings and other loved ones. Doing this Dave learned qualities that he used caring for people his whole life. He was truly the rock that many people leaned on.
Dave started a family in Rockland but has spent time in many south shore communities over the years. He settled in Pembroke with his son for the last few years which, aside from his childhood, were the happiest years of his life. Dave was a very handy person out of necessity, he will be missed for his hardworking spirit and his selfless, caring personality.
Dave is survived by his beloved son Myles David Tucci of Pembroke, and his siblings Carol Cullivan of Weymouth, Michele Tucci-Sandborn of Weymouth, and Tommy Samuel Tucci of Weymouth. Dave is also survived by many other friends and relatives, including his very close niece Amanda Rose Leonard.
