Donald C. Miller, age 86, of Weymouth passed away on November 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Don was born and raised in Quincy. He graduated in 1951 from North Quincy High School where he met his future wife of 62 years, Helen (Dennison). Don served in the Navy for four years and was married to Helen soon after returning from service.

Don and Helen started a family in Quincy, later settling in Weymouth. Don worked as an insurance underwriter for most of his life before retiring at the age of 62. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow up, woodworking, vacations in Ogunquit, ME and Canaan, NH, and spending time with friends. He loved baseball and was recently inducted into the North Quincy High School Baseball Hall of Fame. Don took pride in everything he did. He will be missed for that special twinkle in his eye and his great sense of humor.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife Helen Miller (Dennison) of Weymouth; his loving children, Donna Hazelton and her husband Dan of Orange, NH, Jane Woitowicz and her husband David of Westford, Janet Trudeau and her husband Donald of Weymouth; his cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Lyz, Lauren, Donnie, Jeffrey, Allan, Emily, and Danny; his great-granddaughter, Diana; and five loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours for Don on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5-7pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Relatives and friends will gather for a funeral service at The First Church in Weymouth, located at 17 Church St., Weymouth, MA 02189 at 11am Friday, November 9.
