Donald Norris

Donald A. Norris, age 84, of Weymouth passed away on November 1, 2018 after a brief illness. Don was born and raised in Weymouth where he met his beloved wife of 63 years, Doris. After high school Don joined the Army Reserves and served for four years. He and Doris married in 1955, they settled in Weymouth where they started a family and later continued raising their family in Scituate, and Norwell. Don worked in the printing industry his whole life and opened his own company, Norris Litho Company, which he operated from 1980-2005. In 2005 Don and Doris retired in Weymouth where they have been ever since. Don was a very hard worker who was talented working with his hands. He loved Boating, woodworking, and mostly of all spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife Doris Norris (Haas) of Weymouth, his loving children Donald R. Norris of Duxbury, Brian Norris and his wife Valerie of Hanover, and Lisa Johnston and her husband Richard of Middleboro. Don is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Anastasia, Keara, and Olivia.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Donald on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3-6pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home for a funeral service that will begin promptly at 10am Monday. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
