Donald R. Palmer age 80, of Carver, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Donald is predeceased by his wife Sandra (Ford) Palmer, his oldest daughter, Debra Mena and his brothers, Lincoln & William Palmer. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Delgado and her husband Alfredo of Plymouth, Denise Klink and her husband Matt of Gettysburg, PA and Donald C. Palmer and his wife Mary of Abington as well as his brother, David Palmer and his wife Natalie and his sister Alice Tebeau and her husband Donald. He also leaves his loving companion, Nora O’Brien of Carver, his grandchildren and great grandchildren and a niece and several nephews,
Mr. Palmer was born and raised in South Weymouth, lived in South Yarmouth for about 15 years before moving to Carver 14 years ago. Donald worked as a Master Plumber before retiring from the Soldiers Home in Chelsea, MA. Don enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling as well as playing cards.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to the Visiting Hours for Donald on Sunday, September 16th from 2-6 pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Square) S. Weymouth. Friends and relatives will gather at the Funeral Home for a Celebration of Don’s life on Monday, September 17th at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 125 S Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
