Margaret "Mardi" Hollis

Margaret “Mardi” Hollis (Macri), age 92, passed away on August 25, 2018. Mardi was a lifelong Weymouth resident. She married her husband Minot, who also grew up in Weymouth, in 1941. They started a family and created many wonderful memories raising their children in Weymouth. Mardi was very traditional and loved her family very much. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, and boating.

Mardi was predeceased by her beloved husband Minot Hollis Jr. She is the loving mother to Shelly Thompson and her husband Chub of Weymouth, the late Sandra DiAntonio and the late Jeff Hollis Shapiro, loving mother-in-law to Robert Shapiro of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother to Michelle, Andrea, Diana, Jessica, Andy, Leah, Jake, Joel, Sarah and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also the caring sister of Florence Taber, Diana Mulcahy, Greg Macri Jr., Dennis Macri, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the graveside service for Mardi Which will be held on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at 11AM in the Lakeview Cemetery located on Pond St. in S. Weymouth.
