Linda Hartshorn

Linda Hartshorn, age 63, passed away on July 30, 2018 at home with family by her side. Linda was born, raised, and educated in Hough’s Neck, Quincy then spent most of her life in Quincy. She was with her longtime partner, Tom Haapaoja, for 26 years and cultivated many fond memories with him and her children together. Linda worked for Rugby IPD Materials for many years and most recently worked for Boston Financial in Quincy. She enjoyed the beach and casinos but what Linda enjoyed most of all was time with her grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her beloved partner Tom Haapaoja in 2015. She is the loving mother to Laura Hartshorn of Weymouth and David Hartshorn and his wife Katrina of Maine, cherished grandmother to Derek, Kristen, Rachel, Cameron, Andrew, and Emily, and the daughter of Richard and Anne Patten (Fair) of Wareham. Linda is also survived by her brother Richard Patten of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Linda which will be held from 4-7pm on Wednesday August 1, 2018 in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A Funeral Service in honor of Linda’s life will take place immediately following the visiting hours at 7pm. Cremation will follow.
