E. Jeanne McMahon

E. Jeanne (Rogers) McMahon of South Weymouth passed away peacefully on July 7, 2018 at the age of 87. Born to the late Henry and Katherine Rogers, Jeanne was raised in Milton. She was married to the late Thomas McMahon Jr. and lived a life surrounded by her fiercely loyal family in their South Weymouth home. Jeanne’s life was wholly dedicated to the raising of, caring for, and bragging about her three beloved sons, Thomas III, Michael, and the late Daniel McMahon. She will always be remembered for proudly supporting her sons’ athletic and personal achievements and ensuring no one left her house without lovingly-prepared food. Jeanne worked at Raytheon, Remick’s and other jobs throughout the South Shore in the 1950’s and 1960’s. She enjoyed drawing, painting and spending time at her family vacation home in North Woodstock, NH.
Jeanne also leaves behind her daughters-in law Catherine, Michelle and the late Elizabeth McMahon; five grandchildren Thomas IV, Daniel, Aubrey, James, and Cole; great-granddaughter Kate; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Jeanne on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the C.C. Shepard Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant Street, (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth, MA 02190. Funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery in South Weymouth.
