Linda Della Croce

Linda Della Croce (Blanchard) passed away with her loving family by her side on May 1, 2018. Linda was born, raised and educated on Mission Hill in Boston. She married her husband of 39 years, John, in 1979. Linda and John settled in Quincy where they started a family together and have lived ever since. Linda used her gentle demeanor to work in education and healthcare, utilizing her natural caregiving attitude to help those who needed it most including working with children with mental disabilities.

She was a member of the Wollaston Garden Club for many years and has fond memories of friends she met there. Linda loved taking walks and exploring the Boston Harbor Islands with her family.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband John Della Croce of Quincy, her loving daughters Lisa and her husband Jason and Maria Della Croce. Linda is also survived by her brother David Blanchard and his wife Susi of Florida and her mother Marie Blanchard of Quincy.

Services for Linda will be private for her family. She will be interred at Pine Hill Cemetery in Quincy, MA. Funeral services for Linda are in the care of C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located in Weymouth, MA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Linda’s name to a no kill animal shelter or commit a random act of kindness.
