Bernice T. “Dolly” Vitello (Manning), age 85, passed away after a long illness on March 21, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Dolly was born, raised, and educated in Dorchester. After high school she worked for Green Shoe Factory in Dorchester. Soon, she met her husband Peter and they were married in 1962. They lived in Roslindale for a few years before settling in Weymouth where Dolly has resided for 53 years. Dolly worked for the Weymouth School System in the cafeteria for many years enjoying the interaction with students and faculty. She enjoyed cooking, Sacred Heart Bingo, and had many fond memories from annual family vacations to Dennis Port. Although Dolly will be remembered for her kindness and love, what will truly never be forgotten is the love and dedication she had for her family. Most importantly her cherished grandchildren.
Dolly was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Vitello. She is the loving mother of Lorraine Cazeault and her husband Thomas (Tucker) of Weymouth and Diane Crisileo and her husband Stephen of Weymouth, cherished grandmother to Nicole and Jake Cazeault and Peter and Lauren Crisileo. Dolly is also survived by her brother Edward Manning of E. Longmeadow, MA and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Dolly on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 4-8pm at C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30am Monday for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass in honor of Dolly which will be held at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church located in Weymouth landing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd. Suite 304, Waltham, MA 02452.
