Marion A. (Bemister) Lindvall, age 101, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at the Raynham Life Care Center on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Marion was the wife of the late Elmer A. Lindvall and is survived by her children, Carol Weikel of Mansfield and Elmer Russell Lindvall of Plympton, and her grandchildren, Patricia Welch of Whitman. William R. Weikel of Port Charlotte, FL, Kevin Lindvall of Whitman, Peter Weikel of Seguin, TX, Pamela Bartolomeo of Woonsocket, RI, Mathew Weikel of Mansfield, Donald Weikel of Vero Beach, FL, Amanda Lindvall of Sagamore Beach and Ian Lindvall of Middleboro. She also leaves many great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marion is predeceased by a son, David W. Lindvall and a granddaughter, Cheryl Lindvall.
Marion was born in East Boston, grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. She lived in Whitman for many years before moving to South Weymouth. She was a Bookkeeper for Reynolds Advertising in Boston and Eaton Shoe Co. before her retirement.
She was a member of the Quincy Bell Ringers and an avid knitter, loved sewing and reading but her favorite pastime was loving her family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hour for Marion on Wednesday, March 7 from 4-7pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service in honor of Marion which will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 11am in the First Baptist Church of Weymouth located at 40 West St. in Weymouth. Interment will follow at the Milton Cemetery.
