David P. Tamborella Jr.

David Tamborella Jr., age 37, passed away on January 28th, 2018 after an incredibly long, difficult and well fought battle with addiction.

A deep and empathetic soul, David easily connected to others with laughter and conversation. He would help anyone in any way he could. He graduated with a master’s degree in special education and continued his support of others, most recently as House Manager of a sober house in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

We will remember his hearty laugh, his indescribable sense of humor and all the joy he provided us with over the years.

Family was everything to David. He continues to be loved by his parents, Nancy and David Tamborella, his sister Angela and his brother Dylan. David is also survived by his grandparents, Elizabeth and Michael Tamborella and Barbara and Frank Archibald. He also leaves his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Most importantly, David loved and will continue to love his young daughter, Lena Tamborella. Her laugh, sense of humor, and intellect is unmatched, a tribute to his. Their bond is unbreakable.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours for David which will be held on Friday, February 2 from 4-8 PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather at Old South Union Congregational Church located at 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth for a Funeral Service on Saturday which will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
