Dora Glidden

Dora (Krakoski) Glidden, age 96, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Dora was the wife of the late John E. Glidden and is survived by her loving daughter, Lee Lukaszewicz and her husband Larry of Canton.
She was born in Jamaica Plain, grew up in North Quincy and lived in South Weymouth for 50 years before moving to Canton in 2007. Dora graduated from North Quincy High School in 1942 and was very active in the class reunion Committee. She was also very active in The Old South Union Congregational Church.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours for Dora which will be held on Saturday, January 13 from 4-8 PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. A funeral service in honor of Dora will immediately follow the visiting hours at 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dora’s memory to the Old South Union Congregational Capital Campaign, 25 Columbian St. Weymouth, MA 02190.
