Patricia Sullivan (Rose), age 77, of Whitman and formerly of Weymouth passed away on September 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Pat was raised and educated in Amesbury. She knew early in life that she was a natural caregiver, so she attended St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to become a registered nurse. After college, she settled in Weymouth where she raised her family. Pat enjoyed her 45 years that she spent working at Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Weymouth making a difference in each life that she touched while working there. She enjoyed bingo, reading, trips to California and Prince Edward Island and was an avid crocheter and loved to make blankets for family, friends and newborns.
Pat was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Helen Rose (Norton) and her sister Maureen and her twin brother Alan. She is survived by her beloved children Sara Sullivan of Whitman, Maura Sullivan of Fall River, Sean Sullivan and his wife Danielle of N. Weymouth, and Terri Sullivan of Abington; her cherished grandchildren Kevin Sullivan, Sasha and Jacy Stagman, and Derryk Sullivan. Pat is also survived by her siblings Robert Rose and Sally Tinkham both of Newburyport and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Pat on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Friday morning for a Funeral Service in honor of Pat which will begin promptly at 11am. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Amesbury, MA and will be private for the family.
