E. Lorraine Daly

Evelyn Lorraine Daly (McNeil), age 90, passed away August 28, 2017 after a brief illness surrounded by her family. Lorraine was born in Braintree the daughter of Dennis and Katherine (Hennebury) McNeil. She married her beloeved husband John Daly and they settled in Weymouth where they have resided ever since. Lorraine was a Boston Sports Enthusiast and enjoyed how crossword puzzles calmed her nerves and her road trips with her friends. Lorraine will be remembered for her extraordinary character, deep rooted friendships, and her unending love for her family.

Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband John James Daly. She is survived by her sons John Daly and his wife Laurie and Tom Daly and his wife Sue, both of Weymouth, her grandson Daniel Daly, and her two great-grandchildren Andrea and Jacob. She was also the beloved friend and cousin to Patricia Fraser and Shirley Djerf both of Quincy and the Aunt of Paula Secatore.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Mass for Lorraine at the St. Albert the Great church located at 1130 Washington St. Weymouth, MA at 9:30AM on Saturday September 23, 2017. Guests are invited to arrive at 9AM for a short greeting with the family prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Shore Hospital at 55 Fogg Rd. Weymouth, MA 02190.
