Michael Burke

Michael Burke, age 72, of Braintree passed away on June 27, 2017. Mike was raised and educated in Weymouth where he graduated Weymouth Vocational class of 1963 and graduated the Franklin Institute of Technology of Boston in 1967. His work being a talented mechanic took him for a short time to California then many years in Georgia and Tennessee. Mike was very smart, always surprising friends and family with knowledge on a certain topic or being able to fix something that was broken. Mike is described as a caring friend who will be sorely missed.

Mike is survived by his loving siblings Edward Burke and his wife Phyllis of Milton and Judy Richardson and her husband Al of Abington. Mike is also the cherished Uncle to four nieces, fourteen grand-nieces and nephews, and two great-grand nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the memorial visiting hours for Mike on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6-8PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA 02190. A Service in honor of Mike’s life will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 8PM.
