Marilyn “Mal” Davey (Sincavitch), age 86, of Weymouth passed away suddenly on April 8, 2017. She was born in South Boston then was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain where she met her future husband and high school sweetheart, Thomas Davey. They got married and settled in Jamaica Plain where they started a family before eventually moving to Hull in 1968. Mal enjoyed getting involved in the community and was on the Hull Conservation Committee during the Blizzard of ’78. She was also a crossing guard with the Boston Police during the 1960’s. Mal enjoyed gardening and her many dogs she had over the years.
Mal was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Davey. She is the loving mother of Craig B. Davey, the late Thomas “Tommy” Davey, and the late Susan Eyman, and the cherished grandmother of Craig C. Davey
Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Hull Village Cemetery located in Hull, MA. Donations in memory of Mal may be made to the Hull Seaside Animal Rescue P.O. Box 787 Hull, MA 02045.
