Hal A. Marshman Sr., age 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alice (Drysdale) Marshman and his seven children, Ruth, David, Karen, Hal Jr., Karl, Lorri and Amy. Hal was the brother of Deborah, Merrilee, Suellen and Scott. He also leaves his 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Hal was born in Northfield, NJ and grew up in Middleborough prior to moving to Weymouth 57 years ago.
He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam war and was an Air Freight Agent for Eastern airlines and Air general for 44 years before retiring in 2007.
Hal was a member of the American Legion George R. Bean Post # 79 in Weymouth and the Bay Colony Historical Modelers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Hal on Sunday, April 9 form 2-5 PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. A memorial service in honor of Hal’s life will begin immediately following the visiting hours at 5 PM. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday, April 14 at 1:15 PM.
