Michael F. LaCapria

Michael Francis LaCapria, 56 years old of Rockland MA passed away after a heroic battle with brain cancer on the 18th day of February 2017
Michael’s heart and soul were his three children Richard LaCapria of Providence RI, 30 years, Chelsea LaCapria of Rockland MA, 27 years and Mary LaCapria (Zeph) of Allston MA, 22 years.
Michael was born Feb 10th 1961 in Medford MA and is survived by his loving parents Richard Paul Sr. and June Dale LaCapria of Kissimmee FL. He is the beloved brother of Richard Paul LaCapria Jr. of Weymouth MA and June Leslie Henderson of Hanover MA.
He will be sadly missed by his nieces Tristan Taylor Henderson of Hanover MA, Brianna Paige (Henderson) Davern of Abington MA, and nephew Benjamin Stetson Henderson of Kissimmee FL.
He is survived by the mother of his children Kathleen Sullivan. Michael was a loving son, father, uncle, and friend to all.
Michael graduated from Norwell High School in 1980. He loved animals (particularly his puppies Snooch and Arnie), music and his family. He worked closely with his crew at Jordan’s Furniture. He was an avid reader of true crime and thriller novels. Michael was a man for all men to model against. He was always there to help friends with whatever they needed. He would give the shirt off his back if he felt it would help.

We would like to send a special thank you to the Hospice team at Care One in Weymouth for their loving care and support of Michael and his entire family when we needed them.

At this time there will be no services but we will be scheduling a gathering in the coming months to celebrate Michael’s life with all who loved him.
