Linda J. Wilson

Linda Jane Wilson, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Linda was born in Boston and moved to Weymouth in 1958 before moving to Rockland for the last 14 years. After graduating from Weymouth High School in 1962, she worked in financing and banking spending the last 25 years in mortgage service at the Coastal Heritage Bank (formerly S Bank) in Weymouth.
Linda loved Streisand, shopping and "classic" movies. She enjoyed travel to Europe, including England, Italy and France as well as Caribbean cruises. Her Godchildren, Andy and Samantha, were special to her and she delighted taking them on trips to Busch Gardens in addition to museums, the ballet, shows and plays.
Linda is the beloved sister of Helen and her husband, David Holbrook of South Weymouth. She is survived by her cousin Robert Wallace, his wife, Faith, and their sons Robert Jr. and David and their families; her cousin, Andrew Donahue, his wife Mary, daughter Jaimie and granddaughter Madison. Linda leaves behind cherished friends Lorraine Linger and her children, Laura, Mark and Michael; Cynthia Gregoire; and Sandra Nugent, her husband, Charles and their children, Eric, Colleen and Samantha; in addition she leaves her beloved pets, Alexander and Shalimar and outdoor kitties, Mama and Baby.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to Visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) on Monday, January 16 from 2-6 PM. A Funeral Service in honor of Linda will be held at the Holy Nativity Church, 8 Nevin Rd. S. Weymouth onTuesday at 11 AM.
