Julia Zedon

Julia Philomenia Zedon (Quinn), age 89, of Weymouth passed away after a long illness on December 28, 2016. Julia was born, raised, and educated in Ireland. She met her husband John when they worked together in Cambridge then shortly after got married and settled in Dorchester in 1957. Julia worked at Mr. Boston Distillers until her and John moved to Weymouth where they have resided for the last 35 years. While here in Weymouth she worked for several years in the Cafeteria at Weymouth High School and enjoyed tending to her garden and yard.
Julia was predeceased by her beloved husband John Zedon. She is the sibling of three sisters and two late brothers. Julia is also survived by her devoted brother-in-law Thomas Zdon and his wife Catherine of Weymouth.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Julia on Monday January 2, 2016 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10AM for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass in honor of Julia at 11AM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth.
