Dorothy MacDonald

Dorothy C. MacDonald, age 89, beloved sister of Kathleen MacDonald of Weymouth passed away on October 5, 2016 after a long illness.
A graduate of Sacred Heart High and Regis College. Ms. MacDonald taught in the Rockland Public school system until her retirement in 1988. Upon retirement she volunteered at South Shore Hospital for many years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in honor of Dorothy’s life which will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 9:30AM at St. Francis Xavier Church located at 234 Pleasant St. Weymouth, MA 02190. Burial will immediately follow in the Highland Cemetery in S. Weymouth. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital located at 313 Washington St. #310, Newton, MA 02458. Funeral arrangements for Dorothy are in the care of C. C.
