Jeffrey Craig

Jeffrey P. Craig, age 57, a lifelong resident of Weymouth passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 27, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Jeff met his beloved wife Sharon and soon after got married then settled in Weymouth to begin raising a family. Jeff worked for Brow Oil in Braintree for 15 years and more recently for Clean Harbors. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing pool, and loved everything to do with music but most of all Jeff loved his family cookouts especially the 4th of July. Jeff will be remembered for being a hard worker, great family man, and his love of helping everyone.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Sharon Craig (Junkins) of Weymouth. He is the loving father of Erin Craig of Weymouth, Jeffrey Craig and his Fiance Sara of Weymouth, and Kelly Craig of Weymouth, cherished grandfather to Shane, devoted brother to Stephen Craig of Oakland, ME, and the late Jon Craig. Jeff was predeceased by his father George W. Craig and more recently his loving mother Ruth Craig. He is also survived by his many friends and his dogs.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours for Jeff on Tuesday, August 30 from 9AM – 12AM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. A service will be held in honor of Jeff’s life at 12 noon. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne and will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jeff’s memory to the American Cancer Society at 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
