Jeffrey N. Goodale

Jeffrey N. Goodale, age 73, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Jeff is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Susan (Rowell) Goodale and his daughters, Dawn Dolan and her husband Daniel of Hingham and Amanda Kelley and her husband Brian of Weymouth. He also leaves his grandchildren Heather and Michael Dolan; and Diana and Adam Kelley. Jeff was predeceased by his daughter, Heather Goodale.
Jeff was born in Newton and lived most of his life in Weymouth where he worked for the Town of Weymouth for 40 years before retiring 15 years ago. Jeffrey honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
At Jeff’s request funeral services will be private with the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Service, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffrey’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / The Jimmy Fund. 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
