Maureen (Kelley) Mastrogiacomo, age 59, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. Maureen was born in Boston and as a child moved to Weymouth where she spent the rest of her life. She was the owner, director and state licensed electrolysis instructor at the family business, Miss Kelley’s School of Electrolysis for 30 years. Maureen enjoyed decorating for the holidays, cooking and entertaining for family and friends and spending time along the beaches of Cape Cod and Maine.
Maureen was the loving wife of 36 years of John “Jocko” Mastrogiacomo and is survived by her devoted children, Erica Schuling and her wife Tara of Swampscott, Matthew Mastrogiacomo and his wife Amy of Weymouth, Tristen Houlihan of Quincy and Nicholas Mastrogiacomo of Weymouth, her father Joseph Kelley and his wife Bernice of Punta Gorda, FL and is the loving Nana of Spencer Schuling of Swampscott. She also leaves her brothers, Scott Kelley of Punta Gorda, Alan Bennett of Agoura, CA and Paul Bennett of Tucson, AZ and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Maureen is predeceased by her mother Beatrice Kelley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours for Maureen on Sunday June 19 from 2-6 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth. Friends and relatives will gather in the Funeral Home at 8:30 AM on Monday for a celebration of life prior to the Funeral Mass in honor of Maureen which will be held at the Saint Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in the Mount Benedict Cemetery in Boston.
