Virginia M. Phillips

Virginia M. (Pray) Phillips, age 97, passed away at Care One at Weymouth on Monday, February 15 2016.
Virginia was the wife of the late Henry W. Phillips Jr. and is survived by her children, Janice P. Bidmead and her husband Ernest of Leominster and Lawrence W. Phillips and his wife Paula of Sandwich, her grandchildren, Steven Wallstrom of Pembroke, Deborah Perrault of Leominster, Lawrence W. Phillips Jr. of Sandwich, Tracy Phillips of Weymouth and Tobey Phillips of Weymouth, her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Kylie and Emma Perrault all of Leominster. She is predeceased by her parents Laurence and Agnes J. Pray and her sister, Elizabeth Crosby.
Virginia was a lifelong resident of Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School in 1935 and the Wilfred Academy in Boston. She was a hairdresser in Boston for a few years before becoming a Nurses Aid at the Pope Nursing Home in Weymouth for 20 years retiring in 1984.
Virginia was active in gardening, knitting, sewing and reading.
A Private graveside service will be held at a later date.
