Donald Sheppard

– Donald Sheppard, age 81, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Don is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Persall) Sheppard, his step-children, Michael Dorcett of Charlestown and Lisa Dorcett of Cape Cod, his step-grandchildren, Alyssa Belyea and Alexyss Belyea both of Cape Cod and Michael Goulst of Florida. He also leaves his aunt, Nan Penney of Quincy, his Niece and nephews David Sheppard of Louisiana, Linda Miller of Weymouth and Bryan Sheppard of Kingston, his sister-in-law, Dorothy Sheppard of Weymouth and several great nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his parents, Harold Sheppard and Vivian (Burgess) Sheppard and his brother, Harold Sheppard.
Donald was born in Everett and moved to Weymouth at the age of 15 before moving to Rockland 16 years ago. He worked at the YMCA in Boston for 50 years and part-time at the Walgreens in Needham.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, February 17 from 4-8 PM and the Funeral on Thursday at 10 AM at the Funeral Home.
