Claire B. (Murphy) Molisse, age 80, died peacefully at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Claire was Born and raised in Dorchester, MA and she worked at Tufts Library in Weymouth and for the Town of Weymouth, in the Water Department.
She was the beloved wife of Rick Molisse for 55 years, and devoted mother of Councilor Mike Molisse, of Weymouth, Kathy (Molisse) Wilson and her husband Rob of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, Stephen Molisse, of Weymouth, Dianne (Molisse) Fidrocki and her husband Bill, of Weymouth, Tom Molisse and his wife Julie, of Hanson, MA, and Brian Molisse of Weymouth. Grandmother of Kari-Ann and Ricky Wilson, Tyler, Mariah and Olivia Molisse, Jake, Kaelyn, and Tom Fidrocki and John and Michael Molisse She was the sister of Eleanor McGonagle and her husband Andrew, of Easton, MA. Connie Gill and her late husband John, of Braintree, MA. Kathleen Keane and her husband Peter, of Weymouth, Neil F. Murphy and his wife Debbie, of Plympton, MA, Richard Murphy, of Weymouth, and Kevin Murphy and his late wife Debbie, of Weymouth. She was also survived by her sister-in-law Susanne Murphy, of Whitman, MA, wife of the late Larry Murphy and Ellie and Mel Ahearn, of Plymouth, MA and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Cornelius and Mary Murphy, her sister, Marie Grabowski and her husband Edward, of Quincy, MA and her daughter in Law the late Carl & Eleanor Molisse.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Claire on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 2-6PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Monday February 1, 2016 for a celebration of life prior to the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth at 9:30. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Institute of Christ The King Sovereign Priest,6415 South Woodlawn Ave. Chicago IL 60637.
