Richard L. Morin

Richard L. Morin, age 89, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
Richard was the loving husband for 61 years of the late Dolores (Wolfert) Morin and is survived by his children, Thomas Morin and his wife Donna of Marstons Mills, Richard J. Morin and his partner Joi Rahman of Easton and Jacquelyn Deveau and her husband Charles of South Easton. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his grandson, Eric Morin.
Dick was born and grew up in Plymouth and has lived in Weymouth since 1950. He received a bachelor’s degree and later a master’s degree from Bridgewater State College. He served his country as a Sergeant in the Army during World War II before serving for 38 years in Weymouth where he was a teacher and later a School Administrator in the Hunt School, Central Junior High School, South Junior High School and the East Junior High School.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, January 27 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
