Pauline M. Jennings (Houlihan), age 80, of Weymouth passed away peacefully on November 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. Pauline was born in Boston and was raised in Dorchester where she met her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert Jennings. They were married in 1958 and stayed in Dorchester for 10 years where they started a family before eventually settling in Weymouth. Over the next 48 years, they built their family and made many great memories. Pauline always kept busy working as a school teacher, at Quincy Savings Bank as a Student Loan Officer and Night Supervisor at Filene's in Braintree. Most of all, she enjoyed being the Parish Organist at St. Peter’s in Dorchester, Sacred Heart Weymouth, Immaculate Conception Weymouth, and St. Francis Weymouth where she touched many lives with her love for the church community and for music. Pauline was the true matriarch of her family and was always there for them as a wife, mother and grandmother. Pauline will forever be missed for her dedication to the Weymouth Church Community and her family.

Pauline is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Robert Jennings of Weymouth, her loving children Mary-Elizabeth Jennings of Grafton, Elaine M. Buckley and her husband Kevin of Duxbury, Michael R. Jennings and his wife Kathleen of Kingston, Paula M. Leaverton and her husband Gary of Duxbury, Annemarie Ng and her husband Kai of Halifax, Stephen M. Jennings and his wife Kristina of Buford, GA, and Christine G. Madigan and her husband Sean of Clover, VA. Pauline was a loving and cherished Grandmother to Patrick, Colin and Caroline Buckley, David and Julia Jennings, Alexandra and Christopher Leaverton, Andrew and Katherine Ng, Matthew and Meghan Jennings, and Kyle Madigan. Pauline is also survived by her siblings Sister Jane Houlihan of Wellesley, Sister William Noreen of Bellmore, NY, Rita Hurley of Weymouth, Jack Houlihan of Stuart, FL and Mike Houlihan of Weymouth and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Pauline on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 4-8pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Monday at 8:30am for a celebration of life prior to the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 am. Internment will immediately follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Pauline may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice Home at 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043 or the LUNGevity Foundation 228 S Wabash Ave #700, Chicago, IL 60604.
